A routine highway stop on the NSW Mid North Coast has uncovered more than $1 million worth of cocaine and cannabis, with a young driver now facing a string of serious charges.
Highway Patrol officers pulled over a Toyota Camry on the Pacific Hiwy at Nabiac about 12.40am on Saturday for roadside testing.
Police allege the 22‑year‑old driver returned a positive result for cocaine before handing over a fake licence to police.

Further checks revealed he was a suspended learner driver.
Officers searched the vehicle, allegedly uncovering 4kg of cocaine and 45kg of cannabis, along with $980 in cash and several electronic devices.
The haul has an estimated street value of $1.45 million.
The man was taken to Forster Police Station and charged with a raft of offences, including supplying a large commercial quantity of a prohibited drug, supplying a commercial quantity, driving while suspended, providing false details, dealing with the proceeds of crime, and possessing prohibited drugs.
He was refused bail and is expected back in court on Saturday.
