Launched in 2016, It-Fits came about when founder Kathrin Bickel visited her family and discovered that jersey sheets weren’t readily available here.

What seemed like a basic necessity to her had been kept a secret to an entire population.

“It is such a basic thing in my home country of Switzerland — every shop sells jersey sheets, and it just makes sense. Mattresses are soft and flexible, the sheets should match,” Kathrin said.

Jersey Sheets are made from knit-like fabric that has been designed to be as soft as a cloud and stretch further then chewing gum.

And with her background in textiles and fashion design, bringing an expanded bedding range to Australia was a no-brainer to Kathrin.

Made from 100 per cent Australian knitted cotton, It-Fits is the first of its kind here in Australia and now it has blossomed into something bigger then ever.

Initially launching with no Meta Ads and minimal marketing spend, It-Fits made $44,400 in its first year and now the company bring in over seven figures a year.

“It’s something I’m really proud of, I have grown this business while working in another job and raising children,” Kathrin added.

“I am thrilled to be making more than $1M a year and doing it all during school hours.”
