When it comes to skincare, while I’ve always desired to be one of those women who is singularly loyal to one brand, in fact my top shelf is a plethora of different names and products.

But recently, when heading to the UK for a three-week trip, I decided to only pack one brand and test out the single label philosophy.

The brand I opted for? Naturium.

Naturium has long been a bit of a favourite of mine, particularly the brand’s unrivalled cleansers, body washes and the best-selling Multi-Peptide Moisturiser — which boasts thousands of glowing reviews.

Founded in 2019 by entrepreneur and content creator Susan Yara, Naturium’s cruelty-free, and clinically effective formulas sit on the right side of being affordable, but also they are crucially extremely effective.

But how would I find trialling everything from Naturium for my face and body? I had to find out.

Setting out with no less than 10 Naturium products, I closed up my washbag and marvelled at the aesthetics of everything being one label.

Naturium is perfect for travelling as well as at home, because the packaging is crisp, minimal and relatively streamlined — aka it all fits into one washbag.

As well as my regular favourites which include the Multi-Peptide Moisturiser ($38), the Glow Getter Multi-Oil Body Wash ($32), the Bio-Lipid Restoring Body Lotion ($30), the Quadruple Hyaluronic Acid Serum 5% ($32) and the Vitamin C Super Serum Plus ($49), I added five more products for the trip.

These included the newly-released Retinaldehyde Cream Serum 0.10% ($60), the Barrier Bounce Serum ($45), Niacinamide Cleansing Gelée 3% ($34), the Phyto-Glow Lip Balm ($10) and the Multi-Peptide Eye Cream ($30).

And didn’t every single product deliver.

From the cleanser, which I have since finished and bought a new bottle of, to the lip balm, which proved to be the ultimate in-flight saviour, I would honestly rate every single one of these products 9/10 and above.

It’s rare that my sensitive skin responds so well to a plethora of products, particularly retinal, but these super-gentle formulas not only work well on their own, but also work fantastically in tandem.

These days, I start my mornings with the Quadruple Hyaluronic Acid Serum 5%, following it with the Vitamin C Super Serum Plus and Multi-Peptide Moisturiser, before finishing with a healthy dollop of SPF.

In the evenings, I alternate between the Barrier Bounce Serum, Multi-Peptide Moisturiser and Eye Cream, or the Retinaldehyde Cream Serum and Eye Serum.

The body products are used daily.

I tend to find all Naturium products gentle enough that they can be used daily with no irritants, but also effective enough that you will see a difference in your skin.

I may have been aided by the British heatwave which will always assist in making your skin look a bit more dewy, but I genuinely felt that despite long-haul travel, with the help of the 10 Naturium products, my skin looked fresher than it has done in months.

And I am now loyal to the Californian brand for life.

Below, I’ve linked the five Naturium products that anyone (IMHO) who wants to delve into the world of Naturium should start with.

The top five Naturium products that are worth your money

1. The Glow Getter Multi-Oil Hydrating Body Wash, $32: This was the product that kickstarted my Naturium journey, and since trying it last year, I genuinely haven’t looked back. Yes, for a body wash it’s expensive at $32. But seriously, all you need is one rich pump for beautiful soft, smooth skin. Value for money. It’s girl math.

2. Multi-Peptide Moisturiser, $38: On the other end of the spectrum, this Multi-Peptide Moisturiser at $38 is pure and simple regular value for money. Boasting thousands of five-star reviews, it does exactly what it says on the tub — namely using Peptides to strengthen the skin and make it more resilient to external aggressors, like pollution. Other ingredients like Vitamin C, squalane and glycerin are also standouts in this product, which is perfect in both the day and night.

3. Bio-Lipid Restoring Body Lotion, $30: Award-winning and beloved around the world for its ability to deliver smooth, supple skin without the greasiness that comes with body moisturisers, this Naturium buy is literally worth its weight in gold. It has a gorgeous texture that is easy to apply and sinks straight into the skin, meaning you don’t have to hang around for hours before you sit down on the sofa or slip between the sheets at night. I love that this lotion works as well in winter as it does in summer. I adore it that much that it has become my desert island body moisturiser.

4. Vitamin C Super Serum Plus, $49: Everyone knows about the benefits of vitamin C for the skin at this point. But this vitamin C product is truly worth the money. With a combination of vitamin C as well as hyaluronic acid and retinol, it’s fantastic layered under moisturiser — and doesn’t pill or cause reactions like so many other vitamin C products do.

5. Barrier Bounce Serum, $45: Barrier repair is all the rage in the skincare world right now, and this is one of the best products on the market assisting in keeping your barrier happy. Boasting a lovely combination of Ceramides, Hyaluronic Acid and Squalane, it’s got all of the lovely ingredients in that you can appreciate when trying to look after your skin, packaged up in a cute lilac bottle. I’ve been mainly reaching for this product in the evenings, opting for the regular Hyaluronic Acid by Naturium in the mornings. But it can be used both morning and night.
